Doubt is always a major fault
in children of the Lord
even if it’s the smallest kind
one’s prayers are then ignored

for God will not let anyone
receive anything His
where a double-minded person
believes he’ll hit or miss

as without faith God is not pleased
it pleasures Him to see
a person offering prayers of faith
upon a bended knee
____
not wavering but steady with hope
expecting God to move
man should thank Him for the answer
before man sees the proof
____
oh how it must delight the Lord
when faith is found on earth
where He’s able to give answers
and build on faithful worth
____
expanding one’s trust without fear
is a sign of one’s growth
built upon His holy scriptures
all trust is placed on those
____
put away doubt and fear not again
for Christ shall show the way
in which He wants you to walk in
His word is truth today
